Yes, summer is really here and it is really getting hot! I took this picture when we first moved here. I think the color in the sunset really says HEAT.

Our temps are now reaching 100. Yikes.

5. What is her hair color? black & brown
6. What does she like to do around the house? clean
7. What is her favorite drink? water
8. What is her favorite food? salad

The amazing thing is that she was frighteningly accurate on most of those points!

My Mom and My Dad!

To all the women in my life; THANK YOU! Whether we have children or not, we are still influencing the lives of those around us. I think of not only my own mom today, but the other wonderful women who have left their impressions on my soul. I am not a perfect mom, but I am trying to be a good mom and I learn from others.


My mom taught me the most important things: to love unconditionally, to forgive quickly, to serve faithfully, and to pray consistently.


Thanks to mine and all the other mothers out there.
